2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern all sales made on awalane.com. Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

3. Products

The products sold are traditional Maghrebi garments for men, made by hand. Each piece is handcrafted: slight variations in color, texture, or finish may exist between the product received and the photographs on the website. Such variations do not constitute a defect.

4. Personal use

Products are intended for personal use. Any order placed for the purpose of commercial resale may be refused or cancelled.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are listed in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Shipping costs, if applicable, are displayed before the order is confirmed.

Payment is made online at the time of the order, by credit or debit card via Shopify Payments. The charge is processed upon confirmation. The transaction is secure.

6. Orders

The order process follows these steps: product selection, order summary review, shipping method selection, payment, and confirmation by email.

The sale is concluded upon receipt of full payment. AWALANE reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for legitimate reasons, including anomalies, suspected fraud, unresolved prior disputes, or repeated and abusive returns.

7. Shipping

Shipping terms are detailed on the "Shipping and returns" page of the website.

The timeframes indicated are estimates and do not constitute a binding contractual commitment. In the event of a delay exceeding 30 days from the expected date, the customer may cancel the order by email at contact@awalane.com and obtain a full refund within 14 days.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise the right of withdrawal, without providing any reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify AWALANE by email at contact@awalane.com, specifying the order number.

The product must be returned within 14 days of this notification, under the following conditions: — unworn, unwashed, free of any odor (perfume, smoke, etc.) — with all tags attached — in its original packaging

Any item returned in a condition incompatible with these requirements (worn, stained, odor-impregnated, tags removed) may be refused or subject to a deduction up to and including refusal of refund.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

The refund is issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned product, using the same payment method as the original order.

9. Legal guarantees

The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

In the event of a conformity defect, the customer may request repair or replacement of the product. If neither solution is possible, the customer may obtain a price reduction or cancellation of the sale.

10. Liability

AWALANE cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper care of the product. The care instructions provided on the product page and included with the shipment must be followed.

11. Personal data

The data collected during the order process is necessary for its fulfillment. It is processed in accordance with the GDPR. AWALANE does not transmit any data to third parties other than the service providers strictly necessary for shipping and payment. AWALANE does not use customer data for advertising purposes.

The customer has the right to access, rectify, delete, and port their data, which can be exercised at contact@awalane.com.

12. Intellectual property

All elements of the awalane.com website — texts, photographs, logos, illustrations — are the exclusive property of AWALANE. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior authorization.

13. Disputes

In the event of a difficulty, the customer is invited to contact AWALANE at contact@awalane.com before taking any further steps. In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge.

14. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
